A standout feature of Beyaz Ay is the support team from Korsan Ltd, the local agents who look after it. We were well and truly blown away by these girls and guys. There's a pool guy and gardener who pops in every day and turns the pool pumps on and off as well as ensuring the pool is clean and tidying the garden areas. He manages to do this discreetly without getting in your way. As Korsan look after a number of villas close by there's usually one of the team around in case there are any problems. Ozay was our local contact who was on the end of the 'phone if we needed anything. We found him and the rest of the team super friendly and helpful and he did sort a couple of minor issues very quickly and efficiently for us. The villa is cleaned twice a week by a Turkish commando squad. They leave a note saying when they're going to be coming round so you can either be out or spend an hour by the pool while they work their magic. They are simply incredible. A team of about seven people cleaned the villa top to toe including dusting/hoovering inside cabinets etc and cleaning the glass in and out. Now we know why the villas is so fantastically well presented. Superstars and lovely with it.

We really could not have wished for a better holiday, not only was the villa first class but the service was too. Thank you so much to you and your husband and Ozay for all you help, especially with Joff's birthday celebrations at the Fish Terrace and with Rob's burn on his leg…

Our holiday was a great success. The villa ranks amongst the best we have had over six years of holidaying together as a family (our group comprises myself, son and daughter and respective spouses, plus four grandchildren). The standard of the building and the facilities were excellent.

The Korsan team were excellent – well organised, courteous, helpful and (importantly) unobtrusive.

We had the most incredible time and I am insanely jealous that you have such a beautiful home. The team were very friendly, efficient and helpful and the villa was immaculately clean, wonderfully equipped and perfect for our needs. We hardly needed to leave!

The weather was delightful a perfect 28-32 degrees and the children were catered for right down to being loaned a high chair. Our only regret was that we didn't stay for two weeks!

Hello Claire and Uluc

Thank you very much for a fabulous holiday in Kalkan.

We had such a good time and the food must be better than ever if thats possible.

Our little water problem turned out to be a real bonus with Uluc moving us to the Korsan Villa - we felt like we had a hotel to ourselves. What a wonderful place, we only wished we were staying longer.

Your staff are just marvellous - so friendly and pleasant with nothing too much trouble.

We will see you next year and it appears that all the family will be joining us.

I want to thank you for a a fantastic holiday in Kalkan. The villa was beautiful, and so clean. The staff were lovely and so efficient. It was so good to be able to speak to Ozay with any queries and have them sorted out so quickly. We had a memorable evening at the Fish Restaurant, with taxis being organised there and back by Korsan. All in all a wonderful, relaxing holiday for me and my family.

We’ve recently spent 2-fabulous weeks at Korsan Apartments (Apartment 4) – returned home on 13 June 2011. It was our first holiday in Turkey – what a great find the Korsan apartments are!

We also enjoyed lovely meals at Korsan Fish Terrace and Korsan Meze.

Back at work now (sadly!) but many happy holiday memories to keep us going until next time – we’d love to return to Kalkan so would ask that you’d include us on your mailing list for offers/news.

we are all back home now and I would just like to thank you and all your staff for all your help and attention, it was my first time in Turkey and it won't be my last.

The villas we stayed in were fantastic and we loved the resort, and we would hope to stay in one of your villas next time we visit Kalkan.

We just got back from an excellent holiday in the villa Aysu & we absolutely loved the villa & the superb service from the Korsan Team.

In a hurry for the transportation we totally forgot to leave tips to the great staff for the excellent service.

Is it possible to tips the staff by puting cash in an envelope and send by mail or to put money in an account?

As the 2010 season draws to an end I would just like to say thanks for all of your help during the year and the assistance you have offered to all of our guests in making their holidays, whether long or short, one to remember.

After three years (is it really that long!!) we still love our villa and have no regrets in making what was such a huge purchase at the time. This is almost totally down to you both and your on-going support.

I saw my house in 2000 and totally feel in love with it - an Ottoman house with a walled garden in the old part of Kalkan village. The property was enchanting but needing a lot of restoration. It appeared to be owned by an entire family straddling several generations. This was clearly not going to be an easy transaction. I had got to know Uluc and Claire Bilgutay from the Korsan restaurant, a favourite haunt, and the Stone House Pension (now the Fish Terrace) where I regularly used to stay. I decided to consult Uluc and have him handle the purchase. It was a wise move. Having someone who is Turkish, knows the ins and outs of Turkish property law, speaks fluent English and perhaps most importantly, a person who you trust implicitly, is essential. I was not disappointed. Uluc dealt with the very complicated purchase, kept me informed at all stages and guided me through the somewhat complicated Turkish bureaucratic red tape. Having made the purchase, he went on to advise me on the restoration, including employing an architect, sitting in on all meetings to advise and translate and generally overseeing the project. There is no question that I could have muddled through without this kind of expertise. Having someone to see the project through from start to finish was invaluable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Korsan Ltd to any potential buyer, whether it is for a new property or the purchase and restoration of an old building, and wish the Company every success in all their future projects.

"…..He (Uluc Bilgutay) negotiated the sale," Chalkley recalls "it is essential to have someone who knows the system." Chalkley chose to transfer funds to Bilgutay so he could buy the house in his own name. He was then able to start the security search, and Chalkley was able to start restoring her new holiday home. Once the search was completed Bilgutay transferred the house to Chalkley. "The system here is so complicated, everybody needs Uluc" she says. "This was exceptional" is his modest reply."

“Uluc supervised for us the purchase and renovation of a derelict stone house in Kalkan's old town during the winter of 2003/4. The work was completed on time and to budget. We are thrilled with the end result: we had never imagined that the house could look as good as it does. Uluc and Claire
chose all the materials and furnishings and, although we had only discussed style in general terms, everything is more or less as we would have chosen ourselves. The whole process of the work was totally painless (for us, anyway - no doubt there were many problems on-site which Uluc just resolved without troubling us with them): we communicated by e-mail and transferred funds electronically to Uluc. We trusted him completely and would not have contemplated the project without his management of it.

Uluc subsequently introduced us to a UK tour operator and helped us draw up a contract with them that will see our house marketed to British holidaymakers for the coming summers. He has also undertaken the management of the house so renting it out is totally effortless for us."
