For your pleasure - a leisurely dip in the infinity pool, a turn on a sun bed, al fresco meals from the stone-built BBQ in the shade of the pergola, a meander through the abundantly stocked fragrant gardens, or luxurious relaxation on a choice of sumptuous sofas, a gently-swaying hammock or a racy ‘love bed’. This is the way to truly unwind!
As befits a former show house, the interior of Villa Turquoise exudes style and sophistication with its stunning use of light and space, choice of décor and furnishings, and the air of peace and tranquility which pervades throughout.
Ground floor/Terrace Level
Sitting Room
A spacious, split-level design with patio doors which open to the full width of the room bringing the outside in. The doors open directly onto the terrace and outdoor dining area and a view of the beautiful Bay of Kalamar is before you. The sitting room is stylishly furnished with the lower level being perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying a quiet drink while watching a “must see” programme on the large flat screen television which has satellite TV channels. There is also a Bose iPod docking station. The attractive open fireplace can be lit in cooler months should visitors wish for a little extra warmth in the evening.
On the upper level there is a quiet study area with telephone and wireless internet facilities .
Kitchen
A cool contemporary design with breakfast bar, oven, hob, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and extensively stocked with kitchen equipment and crockery and cutlery. A door leads directly out to the BBQ and outdoor dining area.
Laundry facility
Innovatively designed to keep the mundane chore of washing and ironing separate from the villa, this facility, equipped with a washing machine, ironing board and iron can be found behind an impressive wooden door in the walled garden.
Double bedroom & Ensuite
Enjoying wonderful views over the bay, this lovely room opens straight onto the terrace through patio doors. There is a double bed, dressing table and fitted wardrobes (incorporating a small safe) and the ensuite has a double shower, washbasin and toilet.
First Floor
Reached by a beautiful marble spiral staircase.
Master bedroom & Ensuite (with space for an extra bed/cot)
This room is exceptional in size and aspect. With its outer wall following the stylish curve of the villa there are unrivalled panoramic views over the bay from the triple-aspect balcony whilst inside there is a wonderful sense of space and calmness.
There is a king size bed, 2 sets of double wardrobes (with small safe), hairdryer and iPod docking station, and this room can easily accommodate a child’s bed or a travel cot should you need it – just let us know. The ensuite has a double shower, washbasin, and toilet.
Twin Bedroom 1 & Ensuite
This lovely room looks out over the bay. There is a balcony with table and chairs, and the room is furnished in contemporary style with two single beds, bedside tables, a dressing table and a double fitted wardrobe. The ensuite has a double shower, washbasin and toilet.
Twin Bedroom 2 & Ensuite
Also with a balcony and sea view, this room too is furnished in contemporary style and has two single beds, bedside tables, dressing table and a double fitted wardrobe. The ensuite has a bath with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Second Floor
Reached by marble spiral staircase.
Roof terrace
Soak up the beauty of your surroundings on this cool, elevated terrace which is totally secluded from surrounding villas. Here you can admire the spectacular mountain scenery towering way above the villa and a breathtaking view of Kalamar Bay and its clear, turquoise waters. With plenty of comfy seating, and connections for the music system, it makes an excellent “chill-out” area – teenagers will love it. And with a kitchen equipped with fridge and sink and a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin, will they ever want to leave?
Villa Turquoise is a non-smoking villa in all areas except the Pool Terrace.
Service and maintenance
The rental price of the villa includes:

Close By
Reluctant as you may be to leave the comfort of the villa, it’s well worth the 15 minute downhill stroll, or 5 minute taxi ride, to visit the unspoilt village of Kalkan and its picturesque harbour. It offers a wide variety of super restaurants (see the Guide in the villa for some of our favourites), boutique shops, and the opportunity to buy fresh local produce including fruit, vegetables, meat and fish – great for barbeques. Every Thursday there is an open-air market where in addition to local produce you’ll find bargains amongst the pottery, leather and cotton goods –especially if you use your bartering skills.
On Your Doorstep
A mere 5 minute downhill walk from the villa is the Kalamar Beach Club where for a fee of circa £4 sterling per person per day there is something for the whole family to enjoy – sun terraces, swimming in the Blue Flag standard clear waters of Kalkan Bay, great food and drink in the restaurant, free internet access and free taxi service to and from the club. Water sports are available for a small additional fee.
Another Favourite
Villa Mahal Beach Club - board the Mahal boat in Kalkan harbour and enjoy a fantastic day out. Not recommended for younger children though.
Further Afield – You are spoilt for choice, such is the richness of historical and cultural heritage of this region of Turkey. However we can’t resist mentioning a few nuggets which might tempt you to venture a little further afield - Saklikent Gorge, Kekova sunken city, Xanthos, Islamlar, Kas, Antiphellos, Fethiye and Patara beach with its amazing golden sand beach that seems absolutely endless.

Dalaman Airport to Kalkan is about 1.5 hours drive and Antalya Airport is about 3 hours drive. We will happily organise any transfers or car hire requirements for you if you let us know.
