Here we are at the end of February and already there are some signs of the approaching season …… lots of plants are being transported around town in pots, a few restaurants have already spilt all their contents outside and are busily cleaning everything preparing for this year’s early Easter. There are now more work-men around with various colours of paint on their clothes and less concrete mixers. The rain is easing and at last there are longer spells of blue skies which gives us a long awaited opportunity to catch up on some of the landscaping on the construction sites.
For Korsan Ltd and the summer of 2013 we have no major changes to our existing team and a few new additions. We have a new Manageress for The Korsan Suites and some new members on the Korsan Villa Maintenance Housekeeping team, making a total of 12. We welcome back our ‘old’ chef to the Korsan Apartments who is back to his post after completing his military service. Two of our young waiters from the Fish Terrace and the Meze return this summer also having completed their army service. The complete kitchen teams from both restaurants are returning with no changes at all. Of course the main characters on the service team, Yusuf & Sadi in Meze and Ozay & Ramazan in The Fish Terrace, will be here as usual to greet our guests …. old and new! At the moment we are on the hunt for experienced waiting staff with good English for both restaurants to help out these old boys!
On the property development front things are progressing well. We are currently working on stage one of a unique property on the edge of Kalkan’s old quarter. Stage one sees the development of an area of 910m sq. Stage two will increase the size of the property to 1450m sq.
